SHELF LIFE (web-series) is an irreverent single-camera live action comedy web-series about 4 action figures on a young boy's shelf.
Based on an idea by Tara Platt, Season One directed by Paul Jenkins, written by Yuri Lowenthal and Paul Jenkins and produced by Monkey Kingdom Productions and Ultimatum Entertainment; Season Two directed by Steven Calcote, written by Yuri Lowenthal.
Featuring Travis Willingham as Hero Man, Tara Platt as Hero Lass, Yuri Lowenthal as Bug Boy and Bryan Enk as Samurai Snake. Anyone who is a fan of comics, action figures, comedy and irreverent humor is in for a treat!

Starring a wonderful cast including Mark Swenson as Jack and Kim Rowe and Jill, Richard Augustine, Madeleine Falk, Steve Kramer, Kendra Sue Waldman, Casey Nelson, Eva Mah, Yuri Lowenthal, Tara Platt, Boris Kievsky, Natasha Nicholson and Cytherea; the film was shot in 2 weeks (July 5-July18 2005) during the summer.
The film was produced and written by Lowenthal & Platt.
It tells the story of Jack & Jill Bosch, a couple facing a rift in their marriage. After Jack suffers a breakdown and is forced to take a leave of absence from his job, he takes a vacation with his wife, leaving his home in the hands of two ho
use-sitters. When they return, everything seems to be in order, but with Jack's discovery of a mysterious videotape, he soon finds that underneath the pristine exterior of the world he knows lies a murky realm of sex, murder and deception, leaving Jack questioning whom he can really trust.
Winner of an Award of Merit from the 2009 Accolade Film festival.

LOVELY (short) is the seemingly romantic encounter of two strangers in a tropical Hawaiian paradise, but there is a small twist with the naughty little habit that one of them has.
The film was shot entirely on location in Ka'anapali Beach on Maui, Hawaii in 2004. Script by Tere Welles, directed by Barry Lowell, produced in conjunction with Tadpole productions and starring Monkey Kingdom Productions' Tara Platt and Yuri Lowenthal.
LOVELY just completed making the festival circuit this year which included a festival showing at The Reel Backwoods Film Festival.
