Yuri
Lowenthal has years of experience in the entertainment field both in
front of and behind the camera. An internationally produced
screenwriter and playwright, as well as an actor and voice-over talent,
Lowenthal is excited about his latest project: this production company.
Tara Platt has been a professional actress since her first Equity role at age 15. She has been involved in the industry for many years, producing as well as performing. Platt is excited to bring you Monkey Kingdom Productions with years of innovative films to come.
No stranger to independent films, Lowenthal has also been seen on such shows as "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" and "Alias." A
leading lady on stages from London to New York and LA, Platt also has
film and TV credits such as "Parenthood" and "The Gilmore Girls."

Composer Cody Westheimer graduated from the music composition program at USC's Thornton School of Music. He was then selected to attend the prestigious ASCAP Filmscoring Workshop. Today, Westheimer works out of his extensive music studio which includes an elaborate array of MIDI, recording and mixing equipment. His recent feature credits include THE SEEDS OF CREATION: THE MAKING OF HELLBOY (to be released with the DVD), ENTRE LLAMAS/INTO THE FLAMES, CHINANGO and THE BEAT (Official Selection Sundance 2003). Westheimer began studying the Japanese Shakuhachi nearly 6 years ago. Whenever possible, he incorporates his knowlege of world music into his compositions -- creating a seamless blend of world instruments and concepts with Western counterpoint.
